Learn how to edit a direct contact record in PEARS.
Follow the steps below to edit an existing direct contact record.

TIP: The red asterisk * next to the heading of a field indicates that the field is required.

Navigate to Direct Contacts
From the PEARS homepage, hover over the Engage menu and click Direct Contacts.

Select a Direct Contact
The Direct Contacts list displays available records. Click the record you want to edit.

Click Edit
On the direct contact detail page, click the Edit button.

Edit the Direct Contact
The General Information page loads. Select the section you want to update and modify the record details as needed. For field-specific guidance, refer to:
Click Save and Continue to save changes and proceed to the next section, or click Save to save and return to the record detail page.
NOTE: You may only edit Direct Contacts you created in the current reporting period, unless you are a collaborator, editable user, or Data Manager. Contact your Data Manager to access records from previous reporting periods. Organization Data Managers are listed in the PEARS Directory.
