Surveys

Create and manage evaluation surveys to collect participant data for your programs in PEARS.

Surveys in PEARS are evaluation instruments used to collect data from program participants. Surveys can be attached to program activities, performance reviews, and other modules to measure outcomes. You can design custom surveys, manage questions, share surveys with other users, and collect responses online.

Getting Started

To access Surveys, hover over the Plan menu in the top navigation bar and click Surveys. The Surveys list displays all surveys you have access to, with options to search, filter, and create new surveys.

Workflow

Creating a survey ready for use involves several steps:

General Information

Enter the survey title, purpose, delivery types, program areas, and other details.

Design your survey by adding questions and response options.

Permissions

Choose whether to share the survey with other users, units, or organizations.

Mark as Active

Activate the survey so it can be attached to program activities and used to collect responses.

  • Copy a Survey — Duplicate an existing survey to customize for a new use.

TIP: Surveys must be marked as Active before they can be attached to program activities or other modules. Draft surveys are only visible to the creator and cannot be used for data collection.
