Performance Review Plans

Manage annual performance review cycles with self-assessments, supervisor reviews, and optional board member reviews in PEARS.

Performance Review Plans in PEARS provide a structured process for conducting annual staff evaluations. Administrators create review plans that define participation, assessment windows, and surveys. Staff members complete self-assessments, supervisors provide evaluations and feedback, and board members can optionally participate in the review process.

Getting Started

To access Performance Review Plans, hover over the Plan menu in the top navigation bar and click Performance Review Plans. The Performance Review Plans list displays all review plans with options to search, filter, and create new plans.

Create a Review Plan

An administrator creates a review plan that defines the review year, participating positions, assessment windows, and surveys.

TIP: Each stage of the review process has its own assessment window with start and deadline dates. Participants can only submit their reviews during the open window for their role.
