Create a Coalition

Create a new coalition record by entering its name, unit, program areas, assistance details, and intervention types.

Select Coalitions from the main navigation menu to open the coalitions list.

Click Add Coalition

Click the Add Coalition button to open a new coalition form.

Enter the coalition name

Type the name of the coalition in the Coalition Name field.

Select the unit

Choose the Unit this coalition belongs to from the dropdown.

Select program areas

Select one or more Program Areas that this coalition addresses.

Select the jurisdiction level

Select the Jurisdiction Level that describes the geographic scope of this coalition (e.g., local, county, regional, state, national). This is a required field.

Select assistance received and provided

Select all applicable options for Assistance Received and Assistance Provided. Both fields are multi-select.

If the type of assistance you need is not listed, select Other and enter a description in the text field that appears.

Indicate SNAC status

Indicate whether this coalition is a SNAC (State Nutrition Action Council) by selecting the appropriate option.

Select intervention types

Select the Intervention Types that apply to this coalition's work. Options include:

  • Direct Education

  • Social Marketing

  • PSE (Policy, Systems, and Environmental changes)

Add comments or uploads

Optionally, enter any Comments relevant to this coalition. You may also attach files using the Uploads section.

Save and continue

Click Save to create the coalition record and continue to the next step.
